Predicting noise levels for planned railway lines, considering the design of the railway line relative to surrounding sensitive buildings. The prediction also considers the expected number of trains in the future, the type of trains, train speed etc. Where necessary, ameliorative measures are proposed (e.g. noise barriers, façade treatment etc.). Preparing a noise report and accompanying the report through the planning process.
